ASIST completed upgrade of a new batch of intersection controllers with cellular connection to Traffic control center of Slovenia Infrastructure Agency (CUVP). Intersection controllers can now report operational parameters and errors to central system and receive command from control center.
As a part of software upgrade, support for full cycle-split-offset (CSO) control was added to intersection controllers. CSO allows traffic engineers in control center to actively control traffic on intersections in special occasions, such as traffic accidents, sport events or road closures.
In total, 120 traffic controllers are connected to CUVP system.
