In the end of 2016 we have installed groups of virtual servers in the traffic centres of Dragomelj and Vransko in Slovenia. Based on technology of high availability and virtualization of servers, uniterrupted access to application software solutions of DARS (Slovene national motorway company) - Tunnel Control and Supervision System in Dragomelj and Vransko and DRSI (Slovenian infrastructure agency) – Control and supervision centre for traffic management systems on main roads in Slovenia - CUVP is ensured.
Asist's solution consists of individual modular servers that are interconnected with high availability software technology. Servers provide reliable continuous operation and enable effective maintenance in case of failure, are easy to upgrade, to add new servers to the cluster or replace components of the server system.
The chosen solution helps the customer to avoid problems when the failure of a single component causes damage to the entire server system (single point of failure).
